Vidarbha Cricket Association, Nagpur is the main organisation which encorages cricketing talent in Vidarbha Region. It is affiliated to the board of cricket control in India BCCI.

BCCI holds refresher courses, seminar and workshop in collaboration with Cricket Australia, Cricket South Africa and MCC. The board is also conducting Umpiring Refresher Course.

This residential academy has Eight Rooms & Two Suites at the VCA Civil Lines, for housing the umpires and others who are attending the courses.
