CPT is an entrance exam for getting admission into chartered accountancy course. Give more time to the subject that you find bit harder. Prepare notes so that you can have quick revision. Do exam preparation according to exam pattern and syllabus. Here I am providing you the exam pattern. This test comprises four subjects – Accountancy Mercantile laws General economics Quantitative aptitude Paper Pattern: The exam will consist of two sessions for a total of 200 marks and each session will have two topics. Each session will be for a duration of two hours . Session I: Section A Fundamentals of Accounting for 60 Marks Section B Mercantile Laws for 40 Marks Session II: Section C General Economics for 50 Marks Section D Quantitative Aptitude for 50 Marks. Present your answers in a very neat and systematic manner. Solve the previous year question paper and model test papers it is the best way to prepare for the exam.
