Govt .ITI Kalamassery was established in 1957 as Work and Orientation Centre. In 1963, it is renamed as Industrial Training Institute. It is one of the premier Institutes in Kerala offering well equipped training to the trainees as per desire and demand of the industries in the country.


Its mission is to ensure the steady flow of skilled workers in different trades apt for domestic industries, to enhance industrial production quantitatively and qualitatively by systematic training, and to provide them employable training and to culture and nurture a technical and industrial attitude in their minds to find out self-employment.
