I want to do Executive MBA course through distance learning from Indian Institute of Management IIM so can you please provide me the details of it?

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are a group of 19 public, autonomous institutes of management education and research in India. IIMs are registered as societies under the Indian Societies Registration Act. They primarily offer postgraduate, doctoral and executive education programmes.

Distance learning Executive MBA program

Executive MBA programs by IIMs are extremely popular and competitive.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university

Minimum work exp to be between 2-10 years

Age limit is a minimum of 27 years of age.

Teaching Mode

Among different executive courses at IIMs, some are residential and some non-residential.

Residential programs have a higher fee as compared to the non-residential (distance learning programs) ones and also require to take a sabbatical from work.

Distance learning executive MBA programs have weekend or online lectures; therefore students can continue with their jobs while pursuing these programs.

Admission Procedure

Candidates need to appear for the common admission test (CAT), conducted by the IIMs every year, for admission.

Alternatively a GMAT score might be required.

Qualifying students will be required to appear for a round of group discussion and personal interview.
