Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a private university spread across India in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. Its headquarters are at Ettimadai, approximately 22 kilometers from Coimbatore

The 12th Convocation of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was held at Coimbatore campus on September 7, 2015.

Guest of Honour

Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Honourable Union Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India and Shri. N. Chandrasekaran, CEO, TCS, were the Guests of Honour at the convocation ceremony.

Degree Received
5036 graduating students, in their traditional attire, from all 5 Amrita campuses viz. Amritapuri, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Mysore and Kochi, received their degree certificates. This included 24 graduands receiving their doctoral degrees.
