I want to apply for Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL, Computer-based tests (CBT) so can you please tell me the eligibility criteria to apply for this exam?

Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL is a Standardized test that evaluates the English Proficiency of people whose native language is not English. Nearly 2400 educational institutions / Universities in the US and Canada and 8500 institutes in nearly 200 countries of the world require TOEFL scores for admission. TOEFL Test Eligibility There are no restrictions based on age or qualifications. So any one can take the test. TOEFL Syllabus TOFEL consists of question from: Grammar, Reading, Vocabulary, Listening comp, Writing and targeted TOEFL test taking skills and strategies. English Language training through American films. University Admission Guidance, Exercises and information. Review of idiomatic expressions and responses that they are likely to encounter on American campuses and in professional settings. The test has four sections: Listening Structure Reading and Writing TOFEL Pattern Section No of questions Time Allowed Listening Section 30 - 50 questions 40 - 60 min. Structure Section 20 - 25 questions 15 - 20 min. Reading Section 44 - 60 questions 70 - 90 min. Writing Section 1 Essay 30 min. Total 94 - 135 question + 1 Essay 4 hrs. (approx.) |
