The Institute of Company Secretaries of India provide training in Company Secretaryship by Distance Learning (by correspondence) enabling students to qualify as Company Secretaries.

Who would like to join the Company Secretaryship Course after 10+2 has to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Course i.e.

Foundation Programme

Executive Programme

Professional Programme

Age limit-
The minimum age required to apply for the program is 17 years.

The aspirants must have a good command over English language.

Admission for this courses is open though out the year. After qualifying the Foundation Programme, you required to clear the Executive and Professional Examination and to undergo Practical and Modular Training to become qualified Company Secretaries.

Examination is held twice a year in june and december.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India conducts CS exam in three different stages.

Eligibility:-

Applicants for the Foundation course for Company Secretary must pass 10+2 or an equivalent examination.

Applicants passed the Foundation Course and are not less than 17 years of age can apply for the Intermediate course.

Applicants enrolled for the 10+2 exam can apply with the proof of passing the examination within 6 months.

Graduates, post-graduates (excluding fine arts) and those who have passed final exam of ICWAI or ICAI can directly enroll to the intermediate course without doing foundation course.

After passing the intermediate course a registered applicant can apply for the Final course.

Day-One

Business Environment and Entrepreneurship (BEE)
&
Business Management, Ethics and Communication (BMEC)

Day-Two
Business Economics (BE)
&

Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing (FAA)

Type of Questions----MCQs having four options with one correct answer (No negative mark for wrong answer)

Duration of examination---90 minutes in one sitting for both the subjects
