Re: Common Entrance Test Karnataka Eligibility

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts this Common Entrance Test for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in the colleges of Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria:

You must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Along with Physics and Mathematics candidate must pass the qualifying exam with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects.

General category candidates have to obtain a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam

Exam Pattern:

60 questions of 1 mark each will be asked from three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

Last date to submit the form is
13 February 2016

In the Bank, application fee must be submitted till
15 February 2016

KCET admission ticket will be available for download from
15 April 2016

KCET 2016 will be held on
4 and 5 May 2016

Kannada Language Test is due on
6 May 2016

Agriculture Quota Practical Exam will be held on
20 May 2016

Result of KCET will be disclosed on
1st week of June 2016

Counselling of KCET will start in
1st week of June 2016
