I am resident of Bangalore and planning to give the Common Entrance Test of Karnataka want some details about this exam. Will you tell me what the Common Entrance Test Karnataka Eligibility also provide me important dates for this exam so that I get to know prep time?

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts this Common Entrance Test for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in the colleges of Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria:

You must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Along with Physics and Mathematics candidate must pass the qualifying exam with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects.

General category candidates have to obtain a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam

Exam Pattern:

60 questions of 1 mark each will be asked from three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

Counselling of KCET will start in
