CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a national level law entrance exam organized by Chankya National Law University,


Eligibility Criteria
For UG courses,
Students should have passed/ appearing in the 12th or equivalent exam with securing 45% marks for general/OBC/SAP Students and 40% for SC/ST Students.

For PG courses,
Students should have an LL.B or equivalent degree in law with at least 55% marks for general/OBC/SAP Students and 50% for SC/ST Students.

Last date for submission of filled-in online application form 31st March 2017

Availability of Admit Card 20th April 2017 (10:00 PM)

Date of Entrance Exam 14th May 2017 (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM)

Uploading of Answer Key 16th May 2017

Representation, if any, relating to exam, questions or key

17th - 19th May 2017

Date for uploading the amended answer key

25th May 2017 (after 10 pm)

Result & merit list release 29th May 2017

Release of first indicative seat allocation list 5th June 2017

Revised first indicative list release 7th June 2017 (9:00 PM)

Counselling fee payment & exercising options 7th - 10th June 2017 (Extended)

Release of second allotment list 13th June 2017

Counselling fee payment & exercising options 15th June 2017 (5:00 PM)

Release of third allotment list 19th June 2017

Counselling fee payment & exercising options 21st June 2017 (5:30 PM)

Last Date for withdrawal from the Admission Process

21st June 2017

Release of fourth allotment list

24th June 2017

Payment of full fees by 4th seat allotment candidates & completion of admission
formalities

Receiving status of admissions from the participating NLU (s) in the CLAT office

Fee:
The application fee will be Rs. 4000/- for general, OBC, Specially Abled Persons and other categories and Rs. 3500/- for SC & ST category Students. The fee payment can be done through debit/credit card & net banking, Students will have to bear additional bank charges.
