Sir I want to know that what is the eligibility criteria for the COMEDK Engineering courses so can you please tell me the same? Can you also tall me the exam date available for the same

Hey buddy the COMEDK 2016 is scheduled to be held on 8 May 2016 by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka.

The last date to submit the form is 4 April 2016


Eligibility Criteria for engineering courses

Have secured at least 45% aggregate marks in PCM in the qualifying exam if they belong
to the General category. Candidates from the SC, ST and OBC categories are eligible to
apply even if they secure an aggregate of 40%.

An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is
considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.

Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry
admissions.

Have cleared their 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as
compulsory subjects.

Have studied Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or any other technical vocational course
as an optional subject at the 10+2 level.

Have cleared Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as individual subjects in the qualifying exam.

Eligibility Criteria for Architectural courses


Have cleared their 10+2 exam or 10+3 Diploma examination from a recognised institute
with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination if they belong
to the general category. SC, ST, OBC candidates of Karnataka can apply for this entrance
exam even if they have secured 45% in the qualifying examination.
