Here I am giving you information about number of seats for admission after passing Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka entrance examination

There are 14 Medical, 25 Dental and more than 150 engineering colleges who make available almost 20,000 seats for admission .
Seats in Government colleges are reserved only for their own state candidates, though you get good score in COMEDK exam.

You can get admission in private colleges, as you are not belonging to that state.

The COMEDK UGET is an entrance exam organized to give admission to eligible applicants in the various engineering courses at the affiliated colleges.

Number of Seats:

The number of seats for engineering courses was 17,698 across more than 150 institutes affiliated to COMDEK .

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have passed 10+2 or 2nd PUC from any recognized university or Board in the country.

Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and obtained a minimum aggregate score of 45% (40% for SC/STOBC Applicants of Karnataka).

Applicants must have also studied English as a subject in the qualifying exam.

Paper Pattern:

Applicants tested in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with 180 questions (60 questions each)

Each correct answer will fetch one mark.

There will be no negative marking.

Duration of the exam will be 3 hours

April 8, 2015

Last date for filling of OAF only for those candidates, who have already obtained RFA --April 10, 2015
