SSC CHSL 2020 Selection Process
SSC CHSL 2020 Selection Process is based on the result of all the three tiers.
One needs to qualify each Tier to appear in the subsequent Tier.
The final selection list is prepared by short listing applicants on the basis of their cumulative performance across the first two tiers.
Tier 3, a skill-based test is a final stage to ensure that candidates possess the required skills.
One will be allotted to the various departments for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators, Lower Divisional Clerks, and Court Clerks on the basis of their merit and preference of post.
Resolution of Tie Cases:
Tie cases will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another till the tie is resolved.
Total marks in Tier 1+Tier 2.
Total marks in Tier 2 Examination.
Total marks in Tier 1 Examination.
Date of birth, with older candidates, placed higher.
Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear
One also needs to undergo a document verification procedure after clearing all the tiers for the final appointment. One failing to fulfil the eligibility criteria is automatically dropped from the final selection list.
