The Challenge Course Program at Colorado State University, and others like
it across the nation, offers just such opportunities. Highly trained staff
members, equipped with advanced degrees in experiential education and
related disciplines, create and facilitate experiential learning activities that
are designed to accelerate student growth in:

Personal Development
Team Building
Team Development
Leadership
Adventure and Challenge

The traditional obstacle course has been adapted by modern Challenge Course Programs to bring the sophisticated mental, emotional and physical aspects of Outward Bound type wilderness courses into more accessible urban settings.

The Mountain Campus Challenge Course is designed to enhance team building and personal growth. Risk taking, group problem solving, and leadership skills also are common focal points.

Low elements emphasize teamwork and effective communication
High elements provide an opportunity for personal challenges and growth
Half day (4-hour) sessions include low and high elements
Minimum of 14 participants, maximum of 50
