College of Nursing of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) was started functioning in 1996 with a 4 year B.Sc., Nursing Degree Programme. Faculty members along with students participate in various programmes such as Rural Health Camps, Pulse Polio Programme, and Special Clinics like Epilepsy & Diabetic Clinics.


The annual intake of students is 100 per year.
The academic sector comprising of curricular, co-curricular, extra curricular activities are managed by the teaching faculty.
