Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur was established in 1999.

College of Home Science, Udaipur was established in the year 1966 as a part of Rajasthan College of Agriculture with graduation degree (B.Sc. Home Science). It became an independent college in 1970.
