No, it is not necessary to have coaching class for IPS exams.
If your are capable of preparing by your self then go for it.
But if you think that coaching can improve you, then you must go for it.& study well there & at home too.
I can't tell you exactly which coaching class is good, after all it rely on you which coaching is good for you.
