CMJ University Degree Cancelled

Meghalaya Governor asked the CMJ University and has guided the University to review/pull back every one of the degrees granted in this way. The Governor battled that "this office has dependable data that the CMJ University has honored PhD degree to hopefuls from Assam" and highlighted that as of late, on April 22 last, the University had issued a false and deceiving commercial in a nearby day by day (not Meghalaya Times), guaranteeing that the University has not yet granted any PhD degree to any of the understudies enlisted from the condition of Assam.

The Governor has guided the CMJ University to edge guidelines and methodology for entrance into the M.Phil and Ph.D degree programs, distribution of administrator, course work, assessment, evaluation and other related matters as per the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Awards of M.Phil/Ph.D degree) Regulation, 2009.

Further, the Governor in his letter to the Chairman of the CMJ Foundation, Chandra Mohan Jha, completely expressed that the Chancellor of the University designated does not have the endorsement of the Visitor, which is disregarding Section 14(1) of the CMJ University Act, 2009 and requested "Subsequently all further activities of the CMJ University coming about because of the arrangement of the Chancellor are unlawful and void abinitio.
