he recruitment of SBI clerk will consist of two stages, preliminary and mains examination. On the basis of their performance in the prelims, candidates will be shortlisted to appear for the mains examination.

The bank will shortlist candidates approx 20 times the number of vacancies. The preliminary exam of SBI clerk 2017 recruitment will be qualifying in nature and only the marks secured in the mains exam will be taken in consideration for preparation of merit list

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply for the recruitment process of SBI Clerk.

Educational Qualification: The educational qualification for JA and JAA posts are different. Candidates apply for the post of JA must be a graduate in any discipline. The educational qualification for JAA posts is graduation in agriculture or agriculture allied activities.
Age limit: Candidates should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years

Exam Pattern :

The exam pattern of SBI Clerk 2017 provides details to the candidates regarding the number of sections, sectional weightage, total marks, marking scheme, time-duration etc.

The preliminary examination will be conducted for 100 marks comprising of three subjects English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.

Candidates will have to qualify in each section to clear the prelims exam. The mains exam of SBI Clerk recruitment will carry total 200 marks.

The mains exam will comprise of questions from sections General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the objective tests. 1/4 th mark will be deducted for each wrong answers.
