The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the all India entrance exam for admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) of India.

The exam consists of multiple choice questions with single answer correct. Each question, to which correct answer is given, will be given +1 mark.

Each question to which candidate answers incorrectly will be given -.25 marks.

Preparation tips for CLAT

Legal Section - 43 is a very good score - continue practicing it on a daily basis by giving 1 hr,

G.K. - Current, Static, and Legal terms which could be practiced from General Knowledge Today - GK & Current Affairs for IAS, UPSC, PCS, IBPS & SSC Exams - General Knowledge Today, Lucent n Lucent book, Lexus n Nexus Book and reading newspaper is of paramount importance which is why GK should be given a preferential tratment when it comes to CLAT,

English - books of the coaching are sufficient for the prep of English Section but build on your Vocabulary by reading good number of books / novels also check your scoring by appearing for Mocks,

Logical Reasoning - don't know your status but this section too is critical as you need to solve it quickly and questions sometimes required more than a minute which you cannot afford to do in reasoning so build up speed and practice,

Maths - do not bother much as even with basic math’s skills you may attempt 12 to 15 questions and with 80% accuracy will be a decent score,
