Re: CLAT LLM entrance exam age criteria

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) used for admission to India's premier Law Institutes (including the National Law Institutes) in LL.B and LL.M law degree courses.

Undergraduate courses- LLB, five year integrated programme BA LLB, five year integrated programme B.Sc LLB, five year integrated programme BBA LLB, five year integrated programme BSW LLB and five year integrated programme B Com LLB.

CLAT LLM exam Eligibility-

You should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks for General/OBC/PWD categories, and minimum 40% marks for SC/ST categories.

Age: Maximum age is 20 years (22 for SC/ST candidates)

Application Fees-

The candidates has to pay the application fee for general OBC/PWD and other category candidates Rs.4000/- while submitting the Application Form of CLAT-2014
The fee is Rs.3500/- in case of the SC/ST category candidates.

Tentative date-

Last date for application is March 31, 2014.

CLAT LLM Syllabus-

Duration of the examination – 2 hours
Total number of MCQs – 200
Total marks for CLAT 2015 UG – 200
There is a Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each of the wrong answers.

Law of Torts
Family Law
Criminal Law
Constitutional Law
Legal Theory

Number of Questions:

i) Objective Type: 50 questions of one mark each
ii) Short Answers: 10 questions of five marks each
iii) Essay: Two questions of 50 marks each
