Common Law Admission Test is conducted on National level for students who want to pursue 5 years integrated law course and PG Course in 14 best law institutes of India. Exam Pattern CLAT is multiple-choice based entrance exam comprising 200 questions with negative marking of 1/4 marks for wrong answers. (UG course ) Paper Number of Question General English 40 General Knowledge/Current Affairs 50 Legal Aptitude 50 Elementary Mathematics 20 Logical Reasoning 40 Total 200 Duration –2 hrs (PG course ) Long Essay Type Descriptive Questions. (Covering Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence) Marks --100 Marks (4 questions of 25 marks each) Multiple-Choice Questions (Covering all compulsory law subjects prescribed by the BCI for the Under-Graduate Course except Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence) Marks --50 Marks (50 questions of 1 mark each) Total 150 There shall be a system of Negative Marking wherein 0.25 mark. Duration –2 hrs Tentative dates : Date of Notification-Dec, 2015 Start of Online Registration--Jan, 2016 Last Date of Online Application--March, 2016 Date of Examination CLAT 2016--May, 2016 Date of Declaration of Results --May, 2016 |
