Class 10th Marking Scheme

Can any body give me some details about the marking scheme of CBSE class 10th exam?

CBSE is the Central Board of Secondary Education

The assessment for Class 10th divided into
Formative Assessment and
Summative Assessment

Only summative assessment will be based on exam marks, with SA1 completed under first term, and the final examinations, board or internal known as SA2.

Final results for Class 10th will be based 60 per cent on summative assessment (SA1 and SA2) and 40 per cent on formative assessment.

Formative Assessment is to evaluate grade class work, homework, assignment and project work
1. There will be two evaluations each in the first and second terms 2. Each evaluation will carry 10 marks.

Summative Assessment Based on the term-end examination
1. There will be one term-end exam for each term
2. The first term-end exam will carry 20 marks
3. The second term-end exam will carry 40 marks
