The Application Procedure for the Civil Services Examination now completely digitized at the preliminary level and applications are made only online. Even hall tickets will be issued online and interested candidates are expected to download their copies between fixed days. Scheme of the Examination Following successive stages of examination are: Preliminary Examination for the selection of interested candidates for the Main Examination Main Examination (Written) for the selection of interested candidates for interview for a Personality Test. Interview (Personality Test) Eligibility Criteria: Willing aspirants must have any graduate degree from any recognized University. Willing aspirants who are in the final year are also eligible. Willing aspirants age should be between 21 and 30 years. Number of attempt General aspirants - max. 4 OBC aspirants - max. 7. SC/ST aspirants - No limit. |

The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS) among others Procedure of the Civil service examination are as follow : the process of the Civil Service examination may goes in three stages that are as follow: Stage I: Preliminary examination - This is qualifying test held in August every year. Notification for this is published in May. Results are published in mid-October. Stage II: Main examination - This is the main test, held in December every year. Results are usually published in the second week of March. Stage III: Personality Test (Interview) - It is the final test and is held in April/May every year. Final results are usually announced in the month of May every year Eligibility Criteria : Nationality : A citizen of India A citizen of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India Education A degree from a Central, State or Deemed university. A degree received through Correspondence Education or Distance A degree from an Open University. A qualification recognized by the Government of India as being Age : ones age is in Between 21 to 30 years Number of Attempt : General Category Candidates and OBC Category Candidates under the Creamy layer = 6 attempts OBC Category Candidates = 9 attempts SC/ST Candidates = ANY NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS |
