Civil Service Exam Exam Schedule

I completed my studies and planning to give the UPSC civil service examination searching for the exam details along with schedule. Will you provide me Civil Service Exam Schedule and important dates also tell what the Educational Qualification required to apply for this exam?

UPSC conducts civil service examination to recruit the eligible candidates at numerous Services of the Govt. of India such as IAS Indian Administrative Services), IFS (Indian Foreign Services), IPS (Indian Police Services) & IRS (Indian Revenue Services).

It is one of the tough competitive examination in India in which the success rate is 0.1%-0.3%

Publication of official notification 7th Feb 2018
The last date to submit application forms 6th March 2018
Issuing of admit card May 2018 Nov 2018
Exam Date 3rd Jun 2018 1st October 2018
Results declaration Aug/Sept 2018 Jan/Feb 2019
Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidate should be an Indian national or
A national of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Myanmar, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire & Vietnam to become a permanent resident of India.

Educational Qualification

Must have a degree from central, state or deemed university.
Must have a degree received through correspondence or distance education.
Must have a degree from an open university.
Must have a qualification recognized by the govt. of India as being equivalent to one of the above.

The entire process of civil services examination is completed in these 3 stages-

Stages I- Preliminary Examination (A qualifying exam conducted in the month of August every year and the result declared in the mid of October month).

Stage II- Main Examination (Conducted in the month of December every year and result declared in the 2nd week of March).

Stage III- Personal Interview (Conducted in the month of April/May every year and final result released in the month of May).
