Civil Engineering and ECE according to job security
Hey friend, I am confusing among choosing between Civil Engineering and ECE according to the job purpose. So will you please provide me the information about which will be the best for me?

According to me you have to choose ECE. For choosing ECE there are basically two reasons: By choosing ECE you can also get job in the private sector. But on the other hand in civil engineering their is a little bit chance for private sector also average chance in govt sector. ECE has a wide scope in the job market because the students can go in the field of their choice after completing ECE i.e., they can continue in their core field and also can come to Software Industry where they will be equally considered as a CSE student. You can also join the ECE department by joining the ECE departments. Where as civil department has average chance in govt sector So you have to join in ECE department. Both Civil and ECE are the core branches of engineering so lots of jobs are available in both branches. But according to internet survey civil branch has more Govt. jobs than ECE.
