Bar professional Training Course (BPC) has been designed to give the skills and knowledge that one need be successful in his/her professional life.

Deadline for applying for Inn membership
31 May 2014.


The City Law School Scholarship Application Deadline
6 June 2014
Results transcripts and evidence of Inn membership to be submitted
29 August 2014


Part-time BPTC Registration:
8 September 2014 and classes will begin in following week.
Full-time BPTC Registration
15 Setember 2014 and Classes will begin on 16 September 2014.


Bar Course Aptitude Test (BCAT):
To start BPTC course in September 2014 you have to appear in BCAT

Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) of The City Law School is designed to give the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in professional life.

City Law School BPTC Timetable

There is 3 days of teaching per week (on the full time course).
There will be 1 guaranteed clear day (the Preparation Day), and generally another clear day each week.

There will be around 14-16 hours of teaching over the 3 days you are required to attend. One can request a particular Preparation Day for reasons such as commuting, religious observance, childcare etc.

One can make other requests regarding timetable, for instance fewer early starts or as few late finishes as possible. It cannot be guarantee that it will be able to accommodate these requests but we will try to do so.

If one wish to request a Preparation Day or have any other timetabling request one can email the Admissions Officer.

Part-time BPTC Registration:
To be confirmed. The course is likely to register during the week commencing 14 September 2015 with classes beginning the following week.

Full-time BPTC Registration
To be confirmed. The full time course is likely to register on 21 September 2015. Classes will begin on 22 September 2015.
