Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds an annual based exam for recruiting candidates in the CISF department. It is a limited departmental competitive exam, held in the paper of General Ability as well as in the Professional paper.

Paper Pattern

The paper has a total of one hundred and fifty Objective based question.
Each has a maximum of four options, and candidates have to choose any one.
Both of the section, Section A and Section B, carries seventy-five Objective based question.






Division or Section in the paper:
There are two division or section in the paper, Section A or General Ability, and Section B or Professional Skills.

Markings Evaluated
The total mark offered by the paper is three hundred.
Each of the questions when answered correctly is awarded with two marks.
There are no negative marking in the paper, and questions which are not attempted are treated with zero narks.

Time Allotted
The maximum time offered by the Examination Board in order to complete the exam is two and a half hours.
