Educational Qualification
Candidates must have Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board or University or equivalent.

Age limit: Between 18 to 25 years

Relaxation in Age limit

Schedule Caste / Tribe: Upto 5 Years in upper age limit

Other Backward Class : Upto 3 Years in upper age limit

Department candidates (Central Government): Upto 45 years for SC/ST,
Upto 40 years for Gen/OBC

CISF ASI Physical Standards

For the candidates except Scheduled Tribes Candidates

For male:
Height: 165 cms
Chest: Unexpanded – 77 Cms, Expanded – 82 Cms

For Female:

Height: 155 cms
Chest: N/A

All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe categories

For male:
Height: 162.5CMS
Chest: Unexpanded – 76 Cms, Expanded – 81 Cms

For Female:

Height: 150 cms
Chest: N/A

Visual Standard :

1 Visual Acuity unaided (near vision)
Better eye – N6
Worse eye – N9

2 Uncorrected visual acuity (distant vision)
Better eye-6/6
Worse Eye-6/9

3 Refraction: Visual correction of any kind is not permitted even by glasses

4 Color vision: CP III by ISIHARA
