Re: CIMA For MBA Holders
As you have asked about the route for the MBA holders in Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), I am giving you information about it, check below for the details MBA holders and members, passed finalists and affiliates of a number of professional bodies are eligible to enter the CIMA professional qualification at the strategic level by sitting a gateway assessment. CIMA provides the most relevant accounting qualification for business. By adding the CIMA gateway assessment to your existing qualifications you will strengthen your transferable skills and increase your business focus. The Master’s gateway route is an accelerated entry route to the CIMA Professional Qualification and the globally recognised CGMA designation for individuals who hold an MBA or Master's in Accounting. How does it work? Eligible individuals are required to take the CIMA Gateway exam, also known as the Management Level Case Study exam for those who are not on the accelerated route. The CIMA Gateway Exam is: A computer based case study exam Three hours long Available in four windows a year (refer to the 2016 exam timetable for more information) Assesses knowledge and competencies covered in the Management level of the CIMA Professional Qualification Once you have passed the CIMA Gateway Exam, you will be granted 12 exemptions that include subjects from the certificate level, operational and management level exams, allowing you to progress straight to the strategic level of CIMA Professional Qualification. |
