City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) is an India's premier city planning and richest Government Authority formed and controlled by the Government of Maharashtra. CIDCO Estate Department is also known as the Town Services Department and is mainly involved in the management and monitoring of all the leases granted by the Corporation in respect of plots as well as CIDCO built premises. Generating revenues for the Corporation by collecting Additional Lease Premium, rent, penalties, various fees/ charges etc. The Major Financial Functions of Estate department are: Condonation of delay in submission of Plans for Development Permission. Extension in Construction period beyond the stipulated period on payment of Additional Lease Premium. Grant of permission to Transfer Property on payment of Transfer Charges Administrative Charges (NOC like Mortgage, Delay condonation, Amalgamation, Change of use) Recovery of Lease Rent. NOC for formation of Co-operative Societies Raising of demand towards Equated Monthly Installment / Service Charges / Operation & Maintenance Charges To recover rent of properties allotted on Rental Basis Issue of No Dues Certificate Issue of NOC for temporary/permanent water & drainage connections Grant of additional FSI to constructed premises as well as plots (presently on hold) Expansion of user policy (presently on hold in NMMC area) To grant temporary permissions for religious, social, cultural events, funfairs, marriages, circus etc on recovery of rent.
