CID is the Criminal Investigation Department

For this post the entrance exam is conducted by UPSC and the short service selection

Tentative Dates
Opening Date for Submission of Application form: January 2015
Closing Dates for Submission of Application Form: February 2015
Date of Examination: April 2015

Eligibility
Must be citizen of India

Must have bachelor degree in any stream from recognized University

Age limit:
Age must be between 21-27 years
Relaxation of upper age limit
3 years for the OBC
5 years for the SC/ST

Physical Standard:
Height must be minimum 160cm
For women the minimum height is 150cm

Eye sight
Distance vision 6/6 for the one eye and 6/9 for the another eye

General awareness -50
General knowledge -50
Numerical ability -50
English comprehension -50

Part 2
Arithmetical abilities - 200
English Language and Comprehension - 200

Part 3
Interview - 100
