As per my knowledge Christ College, Pune is a Christian minority institution affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

The College is recognized by Government of Maharashtra and managed by Carmel Vidya Bhavan Trust of the CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) congregation.
