I am sohel. I want to know that when pre university paper of Christ University will be conduct and what is the syllabus, minus marking criteria, total number of question and minimum passing marks of test. Can you provide me information about it?

Application forms for admission in Commerce (Business Studies) in Christ Junior College, Pre-University College can be collected from the college office. Application forms will not be available online or by post.

Eligibility

One must have a pass in SSLC exam (Karnataka State) or any other equivalent exam recognized by the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka and must satisfy all conditions set by it.

Foreign nationals and students, who have passed Class X or any other equivalent exam in foreign countries, must obtain Provisional Eligibility Certificate from the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka, before securing admission.

One, who belongs to any of the following categories, SC, ST, Category 1/2A/2B/3A/3B and those who is physically challenged must produce certificates in proof of their caste/category/ or disability.

The original certificate issued by the appropriate authorities of the Government of Karnataka, its photocopy, attested by a Gazetted Officer must be submitted along with the application form.

Admission Procedure
Application forms can be collected from the college office as per the dates announced by the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka, (after the declaration of Karnataka SSLC Examination results).

Application for admission must be in the prescribed form.

One, who wishes to apply to different combinations, must fill in separate application forms and submit the same with marks scored in class X.

Fee structure for all the combinations will be available along with the form.

The duly filled in application form must be submitted at the college office within two days of the publication of results (Karnataka State SSLC, CBSE and ICSE).

One, who has studied in Karnataka, will be given preference.

The provisional list of selected candidates based on the total marks scored along with admission date will be published on the college notice board.

One, accompanied by parents is expected to meet the Principal for an interview on the stipulated date. As part of the admission process, both parents and wards must attend the counselling session.

Admission will be denied if one fails to join within the stipulated time.
