MSc (Computer Science and Applications) Program offered by Christ (Deemed to be University) is for the professionals working in the software industry or related fields.

It is intended to enhance their existing academic foundations with full understanding of the use and application of information technology. It focuses on Advanced Operating Systems, Data Structures, Software Project Management, Networks, Data Warehousing and Data Mining.

Course Objective

1. The program is planned to help software professional who is already employed to further the knowledge in the respective domains.

2. To improve the project management skills.

3. To simplify software professionals to take lead roles.

4. To understand and integrate knowledge and skills to apply in their industry.

5. To announce current theoretical concepts about the processes, standards and practices in software development life cycle.

6. To support in career advancement by acquiring additional degree.

Eligibility

One having 55% aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU in Degree in any of the following combinations with relevant work experience.

(i) Undergraduate in Computer science or Computer applications with a minimum of 1 year work experience in any Software Industry / IT / ITES.

OR

(ii) Degree in Science / Engineering with 3 years work experience with software Industry / IT department.

Two years (Four semesters- Weekend Program)
