The two-year (four semesters) Masters Programme in Chemistry (specializations in Organic and Analytic Chemistry) offered by Chemistry Department in Christ University aims at providing a comprehensive study of various branches of chemistry to develop a critical and analytical approach to all major areas of the subject.

Eligibility

One who has passed any Undergraduate degree exam with 50 % aggregate marks and 50% of marks in the cognate subject (Chemistry) from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU is eligible to apply.

One who is in the final year of the studies should have secured 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Exams conducted so far and 50% of marks in the cognate subject. One writing the final degree exams in March-May is also eligible to apply.

Admission Process
Candidates will be intimated about the Selection status (Selected / Wait Listed / Not Selected) through the University website.

Admission will not be processed without the presence of the candidate and the mandatory original documents and one set of photocopies mentioned below;

1. Class 10 Marks Statement (Mandatory).

2. Class 12 Marks Statement, if one has appeared and passed the examination (Mandatory).

3. Photocopy of Degree Marks Card (if result awaited, marks card available currently) (Mandatory).

4. Photocopy of Provisional degree certificate / Convocation certificate, if candidate has completed / graduated from the qualifying programme (Mandatory).

5. Transfer Certificate (TC) of undergraduate degree from the last qualified institution (Mandatory).

6. Migration Certificate of undergraduate degree from qualifying University (applicable for all candidates except those studying in Karnataka) (Mandatory).

7. 1 Stamp size and one passport size photograph formal dress with white background (Mandatory).

8. 2 Copies of the Online Payment Receipt (Mandatory).

9. Copy of valid ID proof (Aadhar Card / Aadhar Enrolment Receipt).

10. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / Other Foreign Nationals) have to submit:
a] Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
b] PIO / OCI have to produce the copy of PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).
c] Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and
d] Resident Permit (RP) (If available while applying)
