Centre for Social Action (CSA) of Christ University Bangalore is a 'Students Movement for a Humane and Just Society' where student communities are sensitized on various issues stirring the poor and the marginalized sections of society. This center was established in 1999.

The Centre which was Established in the year 1999 has Been conceived as an attempt to go beyond traditional academic structures and to provide more space for social research and evaluation studies.

The Center currently is under the leadership of the Dept. of Social Work, Christ University.

The library has a good collection of social and behavioral science literature. It has excellent research and conference facilities, an extensive computer network for word processing and other applications including internet access and audio-visual materials.


The Centre looks forward to associate with academicians, research scholars, voluntary organizations and government departments interested in social research.
