Children's University Canvey

How is the Children's University in Canvey Island? My friend recommend me for my son admission in Children's University so if the university offer the good education with balance curriculum of the extra curricular activities also then I will not have problem for hid admission.

Canvey Junior School was opened in 1938 and is of a traditional design which provides a spacious, airy, light environment in which to work.

Canvey Junior School provides a caring, stimulating community which instils the desire to learn, the will to succeed and the confidence to share talents and experiences.

School Uniform

It is school policy, agreed by the school's Governing Body, that pupils are expected to wear school uniform at all times.

The school lays great emphasis on the wearing of school uniform as this fosters a sense of pride and belonging in the school.

Children chosen to represent the school must ensure that they are wearing full uniform, otherwise the privilege will be withdrawn.

Navy School Blazer with CJS Logo

Plain white blouse

Grey or Black skirt, pinafore dress or trousers

School Tie

Navy V Neck Jumper or Cardigan

Blue Gingham Dress

White Socks

Grey, Black or Navy Tights

Sensible all black footwear. (Heels of more than 3cms are dangerous and are not allowed) N.B. (boots are not permitted) N.B. (skinny jeans/trousers are not permitted)

Girls' PE

Plain white shirt

Navy blue shorts

Black Plimsolls/Trainers

Navy blue Tracksuit/Sweater (for winter outdoor games)

Plain white shirt

Grey or Black Trousers

Grey or Black Tailored Shorts N.B. Sports Shorts are not permitted

School Tie

Children taking part in sport teams will be provided with the appropriate kit.

Canvey Junior School Blazer, jumpers, cardigans, ties and P.E. kits (including bag) can be ordered from the School Office.

No jewellery may be worn at school with the exception of stud earrings which must be covered for P.E. No responsibility will be taken by the school for any jewellery which is brought on to the school site.

The school uniform shop is open from 8:30 - 9:00am every Tuesday and Thursday
