Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises is provides guarantees collateral free credit up to a maximum of Rs.100 lacs through banks.

The CGTMSE Scheme is an important scheme that every Indian Entrepreneurs and Business Owners must know about and understand.

Public Sector Banks are encouraged to absorb the Annual Service Fee in excess of 0.25% p.a. for all the borrowers falling under the following categories:

Loans of upto Rs. 2.00 lakh;
Loans provided to eligible women entrepreneurs;
Loans provided to eligible borrowers located in the North Eastern Region (including State of Sikkim) and Jammu & Kashmir.
