I am filling the DRDO scientist form so in this form I need to fill CGPA of the course but my marks in percentage. So please share the formula of Percentage to CGPA offered by NIT Calicut so I can fill the application form with right details?

As you want here I am telling about CGPA Percentage Conversion in NIT Calicut reference :

Grade Point Calculation
Total marks secured by the candiadte in each course will be converted into letter grades with grade point as follows:

Grade Grade point Remarks
S 10 Passed
A 9 Passed
B 8 Passed
C 7 Passed
D 6 Passed
E 5 Passed
R 4 Passed
F 0 Failure
W 0 Failure due to insufficient attendance
I 0 Final grade to be declared

Semester Grade Point Average, SGPA (for the semester)

= Sum of (Credits of each course registered X Grade point earned)

Sum of Credits of each course registered

Cumulative Grade Pont Average, CGPA (up to the concerned semester from First Semester)

=Sum of (Credits of each course registered in all the semesters X Grade point earned)

Sum of Credits of each course registered in all the semesters

CGPA >= 8 First Class with Distinction

=>=6.5 but less than 8 , First Class

=>= 5 but less than 6.5, Second class

Percentage mark = (CGPA - 0.5)*100
