Hi I want to get an admission in in food department through CFTRI exam?

The CFTRI entrance exam is conducted for the admission of candidates into the M.Sc Food Technology Degree course.

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor Degree in Science with Chemistry/Biochemistry as one of the subjects or Agriculture / Engineering / Technology.
Mathematics as one of the subjects in Plus 2 or Pre-University or at Degree level is compulsory for admission.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

(i) 55% in optional subjects of BSc pass course (50% for SC / ST category)
(ii) 50% for BSc (Hons.) course (45% for SC / ST category)
(iii) Minimum second class for Agriculture / Engineering / Technology

Entrance / Aptitude Test:

Students who meet the eligibility criteria are required to take an entrance / aptitude test which will be held at Mysore on July 19, 2014

Applications:

You can submit online application and the printout may be sent to the Director, CFTRI, Mysore – 570 020 along with a DD for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of Director, CFTRI, Mysore

Application Procedure

Candidates can apply by either of the two methods mentioned below:

Online Method

You have to download online application form from website of the CFTRI. The finished application form ought to be sent to the Director of the CFTRI, Mysore. A DD of Rs. 500/- must accompany the application.

Offline Method

The application form can be acquired directly from the office of the CFTRI. Candidates who wish to receive it by post must send a request letter to the Director, CFTRI, Mysore together with a DD of Rs. 500/-. The DD must be payable at Mysore.
