The information related to the CET Karnataka is as follows: CET Karnataka Eligibility: For Medical/Dental courses: The applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th std or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study and have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the PCB group and should secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in PCB subjects in the Common Entrance Test. For Ayurveda / Homeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy and Yoga courses: The applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th std or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study and have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the PCB group. For Engineering / Technology courses: The applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th Std or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and get a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects. For Architecture Course: The applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th Std or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory optional subject and get a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in all the subjects in the qualifying examination (45% of marks in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and others)and should compulsorily appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test in architecture) and get a minimum of 40% in it. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission in professional courses like B.E./B.Tech, MBBS, B.Phama etc. Eligibility Criteria: 1. For Engineering Applicant need to pass 10+2 examination from any recognized educational institute Applicant need to have Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as optional subjects English should have one of subject. Passed with at least 50% marks For SC/ST, 45% marks 2. For Medical/Dental Applicant need to pass 10+2 from recognized boards Applicant need to have Biology, physics and Chemistry English should have one of subject. 50% passing marks for general students 45% passing marks for SC/ST candidates 3. For Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga Applicant need to pass 10+2 from a recognized board Applicant need to have Biology, physics and Chemistry English should have one of subject. 50% passing marks for general candidates 45% passing marks of SC/ST candidates 4.
