STATE LEVEL COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET) is conducted by the Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Karnataka for admission to professional courses including MBBS/BDS in Government and private colleges in the State.

Eligibility MBBS:- Age 17 yrs on 31 December of the year admission.
Academic qualification 12 yrs PUC or equivalent with Eng, Phy, Chem and Biol securing 50% marks in PCB.

Selection MBBS On merit in CET and qualifying exam.
Application Procedure MBBS Brochure with application form can be obtained from the notified branches of Canara Bank/notified colleges on cash payment of Rs. 350/500. Every year payment can be change.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test is Conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority 6 for Admissions to Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Naturapathy and Yoga, Engineering, B.Sc Agriculture, Sericulture, Forestry, Horticulture, B-Pharma, D-Pharma Courses .

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka CET 2016 :

Candidates should have passed class 12th/ 2nd PUC/ Equivalent Exam with Mathematics a mandatory subject and attained minimum aggregate of 45% Marks (40% for ST/ SC candidates) in Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Electronics. Candidates should have studied above mentioned subjects in English.

Age limit :

He/She must have Completed Age of 17 years at the time of Admission .

Application Fees (Tentative):

General Category have to Deposit Rs.650 As Examination Fee (Rs.500 for SC, ST and OBC).

Karnataka CET 2016 Selection Procedure:
On the Basis of marks obtained by a candidates in Karnataka CET 2016 .

Karnataka CET 2016 Exam Pattern:

Exam Paper have 60 Questions of 1 Mark Each will be Asked from Three Subjects
Physics,
Chemistry
Mathematics


Karnataka CET 2016 Important Dates:

Availability of Applications
1st Week of March, 2016

Last Date for Online Submission
Mid of April, 2016

Issuance of Admission Ticket will Start from
3rd week of April 2016

KCET 2016
4 and 5 May 2016

Kannada Language Test will be on
2nd week of May 2016

Agriculture Quota Practical Exam will be Held on
3rd week of May 2016

Result of KCET will be Declared on
1st week of June 2016

Counselling of KCET 2016
1st week of June 2016
