The Centre for Social Work Studies(CSWS) has been established in the year 2010 against demands for the introduction of long pending and much needed professional course like Master of Social Work(MSW) in the Dibrugarh University.

Course details:

Master of Social Work(MSW)
(a) A Bachalor's degree under the 10+2+3 pattern form a recognized University securing a minimum of 45% Marks in Major or in Aggregate (40% for candidates from Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes).

Candidates whose results for the qualifying examinations are not yet declared may also apply, provided that she/he is confident of fulfilling all the criteria for admission and is able to submit the original mark-sheets before the admission process is completed.

(b) Preference shall be given to candidates from North Eastern States.

Duration of the Programme : MSW 2(Two) Years (Four Semesters)
