The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) , an ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 organisation, is a National Apex body in India for training and human resources development in the power sector with industry specific technical interface and is the only institution of its kind in India catering to the core power Sector and allied energy sector apart from University of petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun.

Centre of Excellence in GIS,
Centre of Excellence in GIS, the first of its kind and very unique model in the country, has been established at NPTI Complex, Faridabad in technical collaboration with CES Technologies Private Limited, an organic IT arm of the Premier Engineering Consultancy Organisation, Consulting Engineering Services (India) Private Limited (CES), engaged in IT consultancy and GIS enabled services.

Advanced and frontier technologies in GIS & Remote Sensing.
