The Central University Of Karnataka is conducting CET entrance exam. Central University of Karnataka is one among the 16 new central universities established by the Government of India during the UGC's XI plan period.Since its start in 2009 the university has strived to offer change in terms of content and quality of teaching.

Admission to various academic courses of study is based on score in CUCET exam.

Reservation

Reservation of seats shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act 2006 and Circulars of Government of India issued and amended in this regard from time to time.

22.5% of seats in all programs are reserved for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates in the following order: 15% of seats will be reserved for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes and 27% of seats will be reserved for OBC belonging to the “non-creamy” layer.
