Course: PhD course PhD admission: The Central Indian Medicinal Plants offers admission in the PhD course through an entrance exam: PhD Entrance exam: Eligibility: The candidate should have completed M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Agriculture / Botany / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Bioscience / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Bioinformatics) with minimum 55 % marks ( 50% marks for SC / ST / PH ). The Candidates who have cleared CSIR UGC NET Exam / ICMR NET Exam / DBT JRF Exam or any other Exam leading to JRF / SRF fellowship tenable at CIMAP are eligible to apply. The candidates who have completed any Pre PhD courses in any one of the 3 sub-disciplines such as Plant Sciences / Biotechnology & Bioinformatics / Chemical sciences as core courses with other optional courses in 2 semesters spread over 1 year with OGPA scores. The OGPA scores are as follows: 6.5/10.0 for general & OBC category 6.0/10.0 for SC/ST/PH students Relaxation of 5% marks and 0.5 OGPA score is available for SC / ST / PH candidates. Selection Procedure: The final Selection will be made on the basis of Interview. The selected candidates will be enrolled for Ph.D Program.
