From all accounts, Inspectors and also staff and officers from other cadres of the CBEC participated in the 26.09.2012 Agitation in huge numbers at scores of Central Excise and Customs offices all across the country. In Punjab, West Bengal, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Gujarat, the North East, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and other states the Agitation has been a great success.

Very satisfying is the fact that Inspectors from Delhi and Mumbai participated actively and spontaneously in this programme, thanks to the initiative taken by the leadership at the two places.
