Re: Central Bank of India VCC

The Virtual Card (the 'Card') is issued by Central Bank of India (‘Bank’). In these conditions ‘you’ are the Card purchaser or user.

enStage Software Pvt. Ltd. (‘enStage’) as the authorised representative of Central Bank of India, has developed and promoted the Card in conjunction with Central Bank of India. If you acquire the Card you will have a contract with the Central Bank of India.

By creating the card at centprepaid.cardbranch.com (‘Website’) or using the Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Card is a prepaid MasterCard that can be used for purchasing goods and services wherever MasterCard is accepted and a physical card is not required to complete the purchase (for example over the internet, by phone or mail order). The Card is not a credit card.

You can use the Card as often as you like, provided that you do not exceed the available balance and the expiry date for the Card has not passed.

The Card is not reloadable. You can only add funds at the time the Card is purchased. The Card is valid until the expiry date which is provided to you at the time of activation. At expiry, the remaining balance on the Card will be forfeited. You may be provided email notice before 15 days of card expiry.

You cannot merge funds from two or more Cards or transfer funds from one Card to another.

You will first need to register an account at the website in order to create a Card.

You agree to provide true, accurate and current information about yourself during account registration. In addition, a valid Indian mobile phone and a working email address are required to register an account on the website and therefore create a Card.

Your virtual card image with 16-digit MasterCard card number, Card expiry date and 3-digit CVV2 security code will be provided via a secure page on the website. The card details will also be made available on the customer portal, so that you can view the card details and transaction details as and when required.

The Card cannot be used for making direct debit, recurring or regular instalment style payments. Nor can the Card be used to obtain or redeem cash. The Card cannot be used at ATMs or for any purchases where a physical card is required to authorise the purchase transaction. The Card cannot be used for, and authorisation may be declined without notice for, any illegal transactions.

When using the Card with some online merchants (such as hotels, rental cars, restaurants, cruise ships) or for mail order purchases, Card “tolerance limits” may apply. This means that the merchant may obtain an authorisation or approval on the Card for an amount more than the total bill (or anticipated bill) to cover additional items such as tips and incidentals or to ensure that adequate funds are available to cover the final purchase. The entire amount of the authorisation or approval will be debited and will not form part of the available balance until the authorisation or approval clears, although only the amount actually spent or authorised will be finally deducted from the available balance after the authorisation or approval clears.

You should treat your Card details like cash. It cannot be replaced if misused or stolen.

It may restrict or stop the use of your Card if excessive use of the Card or other suspicious activities are noticed. The Card remains the property of Central Bank of India.

You are responsible for all transactions on your Card, except where there has been fraud or negligence by our staff; companies involved in networking arrangements; or merchants who are linked to the electronic funds transfer system or of their agents or employees. If you permit someone else to use your Card, you will be responsible for any transactions initiated by that person with your Card. If you notice any error relating to your Card, you should notify Cardholder Services immediately on 080 - 43428199 or write to us at support@cardbranch.com. or contact the Website.

You cannot “stop payment” on any transaction after it has been completed. If you have a problem with a purchase made with your Card, or a dispute with a merchant, you must deal directly with the merchant involved. If you cannot resolve the dispute with the merchant, you can contact us via the Website or notify Cardholder Services immediately on 080 - 43428199 or write to us at support@cardbranch.com.

If you are entitled to a refund for any reason relating to a Card transaction, you agree to accept the refund under the policy of that specific merchant. Refunds may be in the form of a credit to the Card, cash refund or in-store credit.

It is not liable in any way when authorisation is declined for any particular transaction regardless of reason.

You are responsible for checking your transaction history online and knowing your available balance. You agree not to make or attempt to make transactions that exceed the Available Balance. You can view your balance and transaction history at the Website.

A foreign exchange conversion fee applies to transactions in any currency other than Indian Rupee. This will be included in the total transaction amount debited to your Card.

Any fees applicable will be deducted directly from the available Card balance.

If you have a query or complaint about your Card, you should initially direct the query to the Website or notify Cardholder Services immediately on 080 - 43428199 or write to us at support@cardbranch.com.

It may use service providers or agents to perform any function under the agreement and to legally exercise any or all of our rights.

You understand and give your consent for disclosure of information to enStage about your Card, or transactions made with your Card, whenever allowed by law, required by law, and also where necessary to operate the Card, process transactions, to perform direct marketing of additional products and services, and to perform analysis to improve products and services, and your consent is deemed to have been given for the same, where required. A full privacy policy can be viewed at the Website.

It reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. You may visit the Website to see any changes from time to time to the Terms and Conditions.
