The Central Agricultural University has been established by an act of Parliament, the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 (No.40 of 1992). The Act came into effect on 26th January, 1993 with the issue of notification by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Govt. of India

The Information About the Msc Agriculture Course is given below

Duration : 2 years

Eligibility Criteria :

+ Candidates with Bachelors degree in Agriculture disciplines from a recognized University with Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of 6.00 out of 10.00 or equivalent percentage of marks are eligible for admission to the Masters Degree programmes.

+ SC/ST candidates with OGPA of 5.50 in the Bachelors degree shall be eligible for the admission.

Admission Criteria : he postgraduate seats to the extent of 75% are filled by the university, based on the merit in qualifying degree, whereas, 25% seats are earmarked for ICAR candidates on the basis of all-India entrance test. The Ph.D. seats are filled on the basis of merit in entrance examination.
