Central Admission Board – CAB, constituted by Government of Uttar Pradesh under the Chairmanship of Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University ( UPTU ), Lucknow is controlling and supervising the UPTU SEE (State Entrance Examination)

CENTRAL ADMISSION BOARD (CAB)

The work of conduction of entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions has been assigned to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.

Further, the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Technical Education Department has consented for the establishment of Central Admission Board (CAB) under the Chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, U.P. Technical University, Lucknow to manage and control the State Entrance Examination herein after referred as SEE being conducted by U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.

The CAB has complete rights for conduction of SEE-UPTU, and to decide about modalities of admissions and allotment of seats.

The jurisdiction of CAB extends to colleges / institutes which are affiliated to U.P. Technical University. The CAB is authorized to take every decision regarding conduction and admissions through SEE
